We work to promote conservation, energy efficiency, recycling and sustainable building practices by utilizing modern building practices and energy saving technologies.  We’ve been building this way for years, not for marketing reasons or because it’s popular, but mostly just because it’s a better way to build.  We started with some of the programs and models like Super Good Cents some 20 years ago and have continued to this day with guidelines and recommendations from Earth Advantage, Energy Star and the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.

At Larraneta & Company, we take building and living green seriously by always trying to maximize the benefits from things like solar orientation, highly efficient windows, optimal insulation and air sealing, low voc finishes, energy efficient mechanical systems and reclaimed or recycled materials.  We think it’s the right way to build for our clients and for the environment.
